Richard L. Van Kirk - Chief Executive Officer

Van KirkRichard L. Van Kirk was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2015. He joined Pro-Dex in January 2006 and was named Pro-Dex's Vice President of Manufacturing in December 2006. In April 2013 he was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Van Kirk's career includes over 13 years of management experience in manufacturing. Mr. Van Kirk previously served as Manufacturing Manager and Manager of Product Development at Comarco Wireless Technologies, ChargeSource Division, which provides power and charging functionality for popular electronic devices and wireless accessories. Prior to Comarco, Mr. Van Kirk was General Manager at Dynacast, a leader in precision die casting. Mr. Van Kirk earned a BA in Business Administration at California State University, Fullerton and an MBA from Claremont Graduate School.

Alisha Charlton - Chief Financial Officer

Alisha Charlton joined the Company in January 2014 as Senior Director of Finance and was promoted to her role as Chief Financial Officer in January 2015. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Charlton held various accounting positions at Comarco, Inc. from October 2000 to January 2014 culminating in her appointment as Chief Accounting Officer in April 2011. Prior to her 13 year tenure at Comarco, Ms. Charlton held various accounting and finance positions with CKE Restaurants, Inc. from February, 1995 to October 2000. Ms. Charlton began her career in July 1991 with KPMG Peat Marwick (now KPMG LLP) and was formerly a certified public accountant.  Ms. Charlton holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a CPA license (inactive) from the California State Board of Accountancy.

Stuart L. Gallant - Vice President, Product Development and Business Development

GallantStuart L. Gallant was named as Vice President, Engineering and Product Development in February, 2014. Mr. Gallant has been in medical device development and management for more than four decades with extensive experience in product design, development and marketing of medical devices for applications including surgery, CCU/ICU, ambulatory and general hospital use. Initiating his career with Medtronic, he has subsequently been a successful medical device entrepreneur involved with creating, managing, and developing four medical device start-ups, including significant experience with both venture-capital financed and public enterprises, in senior management and Board positions. Coupled with his technical and management background and education (BSEE, MSBME, MBA), Mr. Gallant holds 20 issued U.S. Patents in medical devices and nationally recognized professional certifications in financial planning (CFP®, ChFC®). He has also served twice as an Expert Witness in patent litigation involving medical technology.

Marvin Gidney - Vice President/General Manager Engineering Services Division

marvin-BioMarvin Gidney brings nearly 20 years of experience in the engineering sales,consulting     and recruiting industry. He has had a number of notable roles including serving in many capacities such as the Branch Manager, for Pro Source, Inc., a staffing firm specializing in mechanical engineering and product development resources.  Mr. Gidney has a solid track record of proven sales and has a wide network of clients and engineering talent in Southern California, including as part owner of startup SoloPoint solutions.  Prior to his career in the recruiting and placement services industry, Mr. Gidney served for 15 years as a US Marine in a broad array of assignments, including four years serving in deployments around the world, concluding with 6 years as a recruiter in the greater Boston area.

Phillip S. Brown - Vice President/General Manager of Pro-Dex OMS

BrownPhillip S. Brown was named General Manager of Pro-Dex OMS in 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Brown was Vice President of Engineering for Pro-Dex OMS. Mr. Brown started with Pro-Dex's Oregon Micro Systems subsidiary in June 1988 as Design Engineer. Previously, Mr. Brown was a Controls Engineer with Automation Northwest where he led the electrical designs of custom automated equipment. He attended undergraduate studies at Boise State University and ITT Technical Institute and holds a BS degree in Automated Manufacturing and Electronic Engineering. He is currently completing graduate studies at Oregon Health Sciences University.
