Siddharth Desai - Vice President of Engineering

Sid Desai has joined Pro-Dex in March 2013 as Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Desai has more the 30 years of experience in the medical device field. He previously served as Vice President, R&D/Engineering at I-Flow, Inc. (now part of Kimberly-Clark Health Care) where he was responsible for product development for the infusion, wound management and pain management product lines. Prior to I-Flow, Mr. Desai held positions at Baxter International, AMO, Inc. (now part of Abbott Medical Optics), McGaw, Inc. (now part of B. Braun) and MicroAire Surgical Instruments, with responsibilities for product development and product management. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat University, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Joseph L. Rotino - Vice President of Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs

Joseph L. Rotino joined Pro-Dex in December 2006 as the Vice President of Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs. Mr. Rotino's career includes over 20 years of Quality Assurance and Regulatory experience in the Medical Device industry. Mr. Rotino previously served as Vice President of Quality Assurance at Sybron Dental Specialties, supporting product markets in orthodontics, endodontics, dentistry, and disinfectants. Prior to Sybron, Mr. Rotino has held positions at Baxter Healthcare and Kendall McGaw in the field of Quality Assurance where his background included comprehensive expertise in quality systems, national and international compliance regulations, statistical improvement methodologies, quality technologies, and a wide range of manufacturing processes. Mr. Rotino earned a BA in Mathematics from William Paterson University and an MS in Quality Assurance from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Richard L. Van Kirk - Vice President of Operations

Richard L. Van Kirk joined Pro-Dex in January 2006 and was named Pro-Dex's Vice President of Manufacturing in December 2006. Mr. Van Kirk's career includes over 13 years of management experience in manufacturing. Mr. Van Kirk previously served as Manufacturing Manager and Manager of Product Development at Comarco Wireless Technologies, ChargeSource Division, which provides power and charging functionality for popular electronic devices and wireless accessories. Prior to Comarco, Mr. Van Kirk was General Manager at Dynacast, a leader in precision die casting. Mr. Van Kirk earned a BA in Business Administration at California State University, Fullerton and an MBA from Claremont Graduate School.

Phillip S. Brown - Vice President/General Manager of Pro-Dex OMS

Phillip S. Brown was named General Manager of Pro-Dex OMS in 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Brown was Vice President of Engineering for Pro-Dex OMS. Mr. Brown started with Pro-Dex's Oregon Micro Systems subsidiary in June 1988 as Design Engineer. Previously, Mr. Brown was a Controls Engineer with Automation Northwest where he led the electrical designs of custom automated equipment. He attended undergraduate studies at Boise State University and ITT Technical Institute and holds a BS degree in Automated Manufacturing and Electronic Engineering. He is currently completing graduate studies at Oregon Health Sciences University.

Frank D. Noone - Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Frank D. Noone joined Pro-Dex in May, 2012 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Noone's career spans more than 15 years in the medical device and technology industries serving in sales and business development leadership roles. Prior to joining Pro-Dex, Mr. Noone was Vice President of Instrument Sales at Symmetry Medical, Inc., a medical device provider of orthopedic implants, surgical instruments, and sterilization cases and trays. Prior to that, Mr. Noone served as Manager of New Business Development at STD Med, Inc., a Massachusetts-based medical device contract manufacturer. Prior to his career in medical devices, Mr. Noone was Director of Professional Services for CBE Technologies an IT services provider. Mr. Noone received his MBA and a Masters in Criminal Justice Administration from Anna Maria College, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Stonehill College.

Harold A. Hurwitz - Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Financial Officer

Harold A. Hurwitz has served as CEO and President since February, 2013 in addition to his position as CFO, which he has held since joining Pro-Dex in October, 2010. His career spans nearly 40 years in financial leadership, most of which in the medical device industry. Mr. Hurwitz previously served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with Interventional Spine, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of percutaneous systems for treatment of back pain. Prior to Interventional Spine, he was a Principal Consultant specializing in the life science industry with McDermott & Bull, a retained executive search firm. Mr. Hurwitz's prior experience includes serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with Micro Therapeutics, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of interventional neurovascular medical devices. He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P., where Mr. Hurwitz served for 22 years, leading its life science and high technology practices in Orange County. Mr. Hurwitz received a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
